Hello Sebastian, I have flashed ECUs (with original software) with Esys before but never flashed EGS from another model/car and probably I would not risk doing that on such expensive and valuable car. This is why I considered XHP myself (own myself a G15). Of course if you do and try (as you did), it is important to always know how to flash back to stock so that you can fully restore the original data. I mentioned XHP because I have used it in the past on other BMW models (mainly F series) and was always very pleased with the result. If you look at the description of the 3 possible stages regarding the M850i, you will see what each stage exactly brings.
