Hi Coders,

New BU user - been using BimmerCode for basic stuff since getting my G20 330i last year - but decided it was time to progress 

I'll probably asking a lot of really simple questions - please be patient

I'm interested in purchasing bimmer utility to do some coding on my G80 M3 with iDrive 8. One of the main features I want to enable is the anti-dazzle feature. I know there are several steps with updating the vehicle order and then coding components including the KAFAS camera module. Is this all possible with bimmer utility on the iOS version, or would I need to use the windows client or a combination of the 2?

I purchased BU and love it. One downside was when I changed the FA to change the service interval from 36 months to 12 months, it gave me the option to code the DME and KOMBI. Being an F86 X6M, the car has to DME's but it only updated one DME and gave me an error. With the help of Shawn Sheridan I managed to inject the CAFD and code the second DME via E-Sys. It was a little frightening and painful but got there at the end. I think BU should factor the M cars given multiple ECU. Just a thought and sharing experience.

Having said the above, it is an awesome tool to have.
