ISTA Standalone 4.49.23 Activated.
This is the work of a group of wonderful people from the neighboring forum, I just put the patch and files in Torrent format for easier use.

Run the installer, test. If it doesn't work, replace config file with provided one in the folder.

If you have issues with programming not working, make sure you have this path and extract the execution files in here: C:\ProgramData\BMW\ISPI\data\TRIC\ISTA\ExecutionBreak

for language you need german SqLiteDBs file.

For me it is also annoyingly slow. Takes about 3-5 minutes to complete first vehicle test. Older versions (like until <4.39.20 ) ran really quick

Same here, I installed it today and on my 2016 F11 it took around 10 minutes to get all the data from the car and then another 5 minutes to run the first vehicle test. 

Once I was in and reading codes and running tests it was all pretty quick. 

But I was using an old version from 6 years ago and that was super fast, less than a minute to pull the data compared to nearly 10 minutes. 


I wonder if it would be quicker if I formatted the PC and installed fresh? I don't use it for anything other than ISTA and Durametric.

installed but in vehicle interface settings i don't have the option to select connect using default ediabas bin file. only shows local icom/enet option.

update. figured it out.
