Need urgent help (paid remote assistance ok): ISTA programming failure → starter lock
#1
Hi everyone — I’m looking for urgent help and I’m willing to pay for remote assistance from someone experienced (ISTA/E-Sys/G-series/G05 recovery).
What happened (short version)
  • I was working in ISTA+ and it entered a programming / measures plan type process.
  • During that process, ISTA reported a failure and then displayed a message indicating it could not undo / release the starter lock (starter interlock).
  • After that point, things went downhill fast: I’m now dealing with widespread communication issues and the car is effectively “down” (modules not responding normally, screens/operation not right, and diagnostic sessions are unstable).
Current symptoms
  • ISTA frequently loses communication with the vehicle during functions/tests.
  • E-Sys connection attempts are failing as well (can’t reliably establish/maintain a session).
  • Overall: car is not behaving normally and I can’t get it back into a stable state to complete diagnostics/programming.
What I’m asking
  • If you have experience recovering a G-series after an ISTA programming interruption/failure (especially involving starter lock not releasing), please reply or DM me.
  • I’m specifically looking for someone who can remote in) and guide me step-by-step or directly help run the correct recovery procedure.
  • I can provide logs/screenshots, ISTA version info, interface type (ENET/ICOM), and current battery/charger setup.
If you’re the right person (or can recommend someone reputable who does this kind of recovery), please message me with your experience, availability, and what info you need from me first.
Thanks,

I need access to your Computer with internet connection and teamviewer or Rustdesk remote app.

It won't let me now, Ista says it can't detect the integration level, so it does not create the measures plan and put a no start loc om the vechicle

Try:
1. Disable transport mode in ISTA
2. Run the "Reset starter lock" under Service functions -> Power train -> Engine start in ISTA

Yeah, I had to reprogram the ZGW . Car starts and all but I think something is still not correct, I have a code : 801C60 Initialisation  of flexray missing and if try to initialize the whole car goes back to the same state. (Dmes offline dsc etc... pretty  no coms ) so I'n trying to figure out why. May need to reprogram the gateway again but I am leaving th car alone for now. Basically from what I gather, thew car is having trouble getting into learning mode. Any ideas?
