[SOLVED] BMW Radar sensor coding issue
#1
I'm having issues coding a BMW I4 (G26 - 2022) MRR. It's a second hand module. I successfully coded the module CAFD but i'm greeted with the following error logs:
  • 022103 - FRS: External SWT test condition not met
  • 022104 - FRS: Internal SWT check failed

Since then I tried running the service function in ISTA to activate the radar which required calibration. This succeeded but I still have an error for the internal SWT check failed.
I noticed in ISTA vehicle equipment I have the following (not sure if this is relevant):
  • FRS - 0x01490001 - Active cruise control ACC160 - Rejected
Currently, my intention is not to activate Active cruise control with stop and go (which BMW charge £750 for...  Confused )
I'm trying to remove the errors to enable the standard cruise control to work.

Am I missing something obvious? Any support is appreciated.

Thanks

This project requires an FSC ACC160.

I got someone to take a look into this, it turns out the module was a used module and therefore needed to be 'virginised' but he was gatekeeping the actual solution. I'm assuming he copied my vin over to the donor module. no FSC was required in the end.
