BMW CONNECTED DRIVE not working. No apps

Hi people,
I'm new here and new to BMW coming from the Audi world.

Could someone please advise? I cannot connect/ download apps? I see I need a software update. I'll do that when at home. Also my Evo 6 maps are 6 years old.
Do I need to pay for the connected drive to activate apps etc?

BMW apps require FSC to be activated(Not sure if dealer will sell it to you). You can check if you have the bmw apps FSC installed first. For the maps you can either patch it or get oem FSC.
I think in you case you better patch it using full FSC set with all FSC activated plus lifetime map updates.

You need to purchase a patch for the unit and it will activate FSC set and lifetime map update. PM me i can provide the patch for FSC set and map update.

Have you tried getting connected drive to work? In the online store is there an option to purchase bmw apps package. You can purchase map updates in online store.

The only option I have is connected booster?
For FSC unlocking. Is that used by E-sys?

No. FSC patch is done online automatically using feature installer.
