Personally I don't trust ista 4.39.20, I still use 4.32.15 and is perfect for me, and by the way, I entered your vin and it worked on my version.
As per you connecting to your car, you need to do the settings for k+dcan cable in ediabas.ini and also select the ediabas.ini interface in ista settings.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. Do you have a torrent link where you got your 4.39.20?
I'll try downloading one today, but would like to use the same source to increase the chance of it working.
