Coding older lcm 3b module for auto lights
#1
Hello forum, please can anyone help ?  I have a 1999 E39 M5  last 7 digits BJ10220 and i have replaced the rain sensor with a Rs / Ls prism along with a LCM 3b man as I have xenon's with external leveling module.  Replacement module version is C.19 but I am unable to find auto leveling option when getting the trace file.   I looked on different NCS dummy profiles and found the option on version C.20

I managed to update the chassis number and remove tamper dot.

My question is can this be written to an older module, any help really appreciated, didn't want to go down the route of another eBay purchase.

Have you try updating it?
You can manipulate the TRC file using ncsdummy to add parameters.

Thanks for your reply, I've finally made the option aktiv as you have said by manipulating the trace file after making my own profile on NCS expert, now to try at night.

Cheers
