Istep upgrade - non OEM FSC rejected - solved
#1
Hello all.
Time ago I enabled carplay, full screen, apps, lifetime maps, etc via Feature Installer on my oem NBT evo ID5

Last days I had Istep upgraded by delear (due a recent recall).
Delear asked me to confirm the upgrade and sayd I would have problems with options I activated because non OEM; I sayd yes thiking operation wiped the fake FSCs and I could restore it.

My car is back and navigation won't start (delear told me)
On ISTA all fake FSCs are still there and "rejected".

How to proceed to do a correct job?
a - simply use F.I. apply the patch to re-enabling carplay & co;
b - use F.I. to revert to the orginal situation and then apply the patch?
c - delete the fake FSCs before via Esys in some way and then use F.I.
d - revert to original using my OEM FSCs repair pack?

All informations will be appreciate

Worked like a charm.

Used FI again and all FSC were accepted.
Thank you.
