Open up ISTA and press on "?"
In that PDF look for 3.7.8 Execution stops

The execution stop prevents defective software being transferred via programming to customer vehicles.

That`s why it has the ExecutionBreak in there, is offline, so it will not send data to BMW servers. Basically if you want to program a car and something might go wrong because of the i-level, it will not let you do it. Is a good security thing to not break the ecu's

If you have no idea how to install ISTA manually, use my installer!!!

Please don't ask me for another Languages!!!

ISTA Standalone

* resolution can be changed in the ISTAGUI.exe.config
* disable CheckSystemRequirements is now possible in ISTAGUI.exe.config
* enable programming with ENET is now possible in ISTAGUI.exe.config (at your own risk.)
* enable Diagnose for J29 (Toyota Supra) is now possible in ISTAGUI.exe.config.
* "Unknown terminal voltage!" message with ENET is fixed, now ISTA check really Voltage, but not display it.
* don't ask me to remove "Unknown terminal voltage!" message, this is a important message!!!
* read FASTA Data from Vehicle is disabled in ISTAGUI.exe.config
* if you use my Regfiles, open it with Notepad and change the InstallLocation to the right Location on her PC. (not needed with Installer)

- for Diagnose only, neccessary SQLiteDBs GLOBAL(required), en-GB(required), de-DE(optional) and BLP(required) in the same Version as App (example 4.25.1x).
- for Programming is SDP needed, using older Versions allowed.

Installer need this structure (see attachment):

If I am upgrading from an old version of ISTA do I need to delete or uninstall it before updating to the newer version? Also when upgrading to the newer version do I have to download everything or is there some stuff that can be skipped for an update?

Ive successfully updated my ISTA from an old version of 4.01.20 to 4.3.30. Ive noticed that the new version doesn't work with "calculate test plan" feature like my old version did. If I remember correctly I had a version of 4.27 on a virtual machine that also had working test plan. Ill do more testing as I just installed the 4.3.30 and see what else has changed. I also noticed it didn't display software installation date for modules programming like the old stuff did. Did anyone else notice these changes?
