[G30] Upgrade ID6 to ID7 ?

As I don't read the same answer, is it possible to upgrade from ID6 to ID7 a G30 530i from 2018-05 with coding ?

Technically, but if I've understood what has been explained to me, it must be changed NBT hardware to be able to do that upgrade.
Is it correct ?

offcourse , you need to change the headunit , there is no ID7 software for NBT EVO which you have currently in your G30.

You need MGU headunit + 12 inch MGU touch screen + some wires and a lot of Software work. I personally never done such retrofit , so I don't know if MGU headunit works with the pre-LCI G30 Instrument cluster.

Hopefully others will shade some light on this project .
