E60 Combox Retrofit

Hi. 
Im looking to retrofit combox to my factory CIC equipped e60. 
I bought combox module from late model e90. 
I have wired it up and connected to the MOST test point under the glovebox. 
Reason for that is because my car came without mulf or tcu. 
On moat testpoint i can see the red light from both the cable and the combox unit. 
Inpa sees the combox unit and status okay. 
But when i try to program combox with ncs expert using ssd file. 
I get an error saying 
nicht angeschlossen oder meldet sich nicht cmediar

Is my combox faulty or is it something with most connection
