ENET G30 Car Play Activation

Hello,

Hope all are keeping well. 

I have a 2018 520i M Sport that I am trying to activate Car Play on.

The VIN number (last 7 digits) is BN95699, the head unit version is NBTevo_P.

I have seen informative guides on coding, and am pretty savvy with IT/Coding in usual circumstances.

I have purchased the ENET cable and have the relevant software, however I cannot find where to activate Car Play in any of the forums or coding data?

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I don't want to pay for something I can do myself, just need a steer please.

Hi

you have to add the option code carplay if not present and then you need a paying fsc code so alone without paying anything it will be difficult.

You will also need to add a wifi antenna, at first sight you don't have it

Sorry, not sure what happened there!!

I have the E-sys FLD codes (see attachment), will that contain the CarPlay Application?  Or will I need to pay for the  FCS codes, and any ideas on cost and availability?

Just to explain (so you don't think I am a scrooge  ) I already have E-Sys software and cable, and like the idea of knowing I can re-code things in case during a Service BMW conduct an update and disable my new settings!

I have been offered a one click 'application' that costs £60 that you load and plug in to your car, but if I get a service update I have to pay all over again.

Hi, I'm new in this scene ...

I found little information about my project to activate Wifi for miracast at my car so far, Apple Carplay is not necessary.
It is a F45 - 225xe from 07/2017 with the headunit ENTRYNAV2 and 6.5" touchscreen.
I've been building in the DAB antenna, the wifi antenna and the second (blue port) USB-cable
I was able to activate in the FA:
- DAB (S654A)
- WirelessCharging (S6NWA)
- AppleCarplayPreparation (S6CPA)
- Hotspot (S6WDA)
Now DAB works.
But Wifi and second USB don't work.
Elsewhere I found informations about the S6NDA but I couldnt code that.
Can some one help me?
