Hello everyone from California!!

Afternoon All,
 
I’m After some Help.
 
ive recently bought a 2004 5 Series E61 and it came with the HIFI  System and a CD player  No Sat Nav and the small Screen,
 
i would like to upgrade it to the CIC System with i need some new parts for 
 
1 x Controller Pro Nav System
 
1 8ich Screen
 
+ new I drive a Wire for the Screen and GPS
 
plus it will need to be programmed ive been told
 
from my old system it looks the Main wiring harness is different to one with the SAT Nav so would i need to get a new main wiring Harness for it to work?
 
ive attached 1 picture 1 showing the back on mine,
 
if someone could tell me what i need that would be Awsome

Hi All

Hope you can help me wtih this. im having issue removing theTurbo Intercooler UPPER Hose Pipe mine has a nice split in the rubber hose part,

Ive got the clip off that connect it to the EGR valve etc etc. 

but at the botton on the other end the rubber there looks to be a metal ring that you cant adjust,  and i cant pull it off.

if it just a case to cutting the old pip off and getting new clamps for the new pip

Hello all!

I’ve been fighting this issue for over a month now and still can't find any help on how to solve the issue; maybe someone already had a similar problem.

Long story short.

Driver profile settings (radio volume, treble, bass, and added Bluetooth devices) are not saved in the HU when you leave the car, lock it and let it sleep, reset HU module or ABL power down with ÎŜ†Ä; the next time you return to the vehicle and turn the HU, all the settings are reverted to the previous save (some time ago, I have attached the picture on how the sound level are reverted every time).

What I have tried:

• Deleted Private data in iDrive
  
• Exported and imported the driver profile to/from USB; it’s working until next sleep/start or HU reset
  
• Flashed the HU, FEM and KOMBO to the latest I-level - F020-24-07-520
  
• Restored HU with ÎŜ†Ä to delivery status
  
• Coded HU with the default setting
  
• Replaced the car battery
  

What else can be checked? Please advise!
