Sorry for the newbie question, I think this might have been asked many many time before but I could not find a straight anwser.
I managed to successfully flash the HU unit now it shows NBTevo_X20511

Ive also coded the following in the hu unit:
ID5 to ID6 Skin -> HMI_ID_VERSION change this to id6_light
APPLE_ENHANCEMENTS => aktiv
HMI / HMI_39_39_128 => aktiv

What do I need to do next to enable apple carplay?
I see no new options on the menus
I need some sort of code to active it right?

?hi guys ,is there a way to code/adding code to have the angels on as DLR  on a e39 ? what is the name refering to the angel on the lcm code ?

Hi all . I think that all the parts are sorted out and in working order ( transfer case & actuator ) but having problems when turning, the car loses power, wheels lock up for a second and so on untill i unplug the cabel from Transfer case actuator and then the car runs fine but have 4x4, ABS and other warning light on. So my guess is that i need a trannsfer case recoding. I downloaded ÎŜ†Ä+ 4.39.20 and now i have it installed on my laptop just not sure what to do next. Do i need a K + D CAN Cable or i need to get a ÏçØɱ ? Please if any of you guys can help it would be much appreciated and it would help me alot. I dont know how much a proper work shop would charge for that so maybe i would be willing to do that but dont know the price and i am scared they will just start charging me for more then just a re-coding.

Thinking of downloading Bimmer Utility, it seems well linked up on these pages. I guess there are a few users of it now? Is it easy to get on with for your average ėšÝ§ user?

How to add FA code to the VIN?
Ive done it in ėšÝ§ - but after launch ÎŜ†Ä it doesnt synchronize via server.
I want to add extra equipment, that which will be visabled online.
