I have F20, and knob next to light switch dim cluster, iDrive and Ambient light when light is on. I know that ambi light and iDrive have separate switch, but this knob dim them all. Is it possible to seoarate ambi light and iDrive screen brightness from the instrument knob?

Guys, as I said in my intro thread, I drive a 2015 F36 420d. I've just been stolen of my HU, screen and Idrive; so, I've retrofitted a ID5/6 with touchscreen.

With the guy who I bought the HU and wiring from, I discovered that there's a world of coding behind a car.

So, I want to understand better the VO, FDL, ėšÝ§, ÎŜ†Ä+ term.

Is there any guide out there? Someone can explain this?

I've found Bimmercode, but I understood that is a quite simple utility. I want to go deeper in detail of coding.
