Hi, after several years of driving a van after owning a few fun cars (Audi rs6+, strokered Evo V etc) I took delivery of a 2016 Bmw M4 competition in Suzuka Grey with plenty on MPerformace parts. All I can say is I absolutely love the car and even in stock gives me a massive smile.

I have a lot to learn with regard to tweaking. My previous Evo was built by myself and mapped / tuned by myself.

Any info / recommendations much appreciate!

Quick initial questions would be:-

- Best tuning software, or are the new simple OTA solutions like MHD etc worth it?
- is it possible to update the iDrive yourself and subsequently add FS Apple CarPlay yourself? Or do you need to use a 3rd party provider ?
- any instructions for the MPerformance steering wheel floating about as I have one fitted and yet to see the LED rev monitor kick in?

I did donate to the VIP section, but don’t yet seem to have access if anyone has any info why that may be?

I have a f11.a with a regular tms card in the Xenon headlight. and when i switched to a used tms card it had id 0428 and my old has id 1213 but do not know how to change id. Because I can not initiate it in ÎŜ†Ä.

How can i change id in tool 32

Attempting to do some coding on a new I20 (iX), and finding missing CAFDs in the psdzdata sets from the last 12 months.
 
Does anyone have the following CAFDs, or all of the ones needed for I20 coding?

I tried to activate vim with the same solution as the existing id7 on my i4, but it failed.

mgu cafd is same so i did menu coding but

after that existing I tried pressing Media - Menu - Media with the jog dial up, but there was nothing happened

anyone know about this?

Hi Everyone.

I am getting the following error when trying to VO code some modules in order to retrofit a reverse camera to an F40. Any ideas what could cause this?
