Does anyone know if you can reflash the hud software in a Uk f32/f36 440i auto, to that of a m4? So it shows rev counter and gear selection? Or is there a hardware difference too?

I have purchased through ebay a full retrofit kit - front sensors. Went to local BMW dealer to install it. they did and everything was working normally. But for three days now whenever i either press the button or engage reverse, the front right sensor (not the far right) is constantly beeping. I will go again tomorrow to them and see if the cabling is the problem.

Any ideas/suggestions on what can I check fm my side?

i have a F bench with Arduino, works fine for me. (Arduino UNO with Seeedstudio Can Shield v2)


So i have another one Arduino UNO and elecfreaks Can Shield v1.2, but can create a sketch with 100k bus deppend on Can1 in E series.


And don´t know if the messages are right.


Some one have solution for this?

Just joined up as I’ve recently downloaded esys and want to learn how to use it properly before diving in.

I’ve used Carly for coding recently, have some knowledge of Bimmercode but knowing how to code some more advanced stuff would be helpful too. I have dabbled in the past with Vagcom too so have some knowledge of coding stuff to cars.

Current cars in the household are my F36 440i and my missus F57 Cooper.

Is there a literally beginners guide to getting started and a few easy things to code so you can get the hang of it all? I’ve already done some coding on the car with Carly so even undoing those and redoing with esys would be a good starting point I think. Things like alarm beep menu and door lights on in reverse?

I do have some more technical things I’d like to do in time but I’m not going to run before I can walk ?

Anyone know of any fuse in the rear trunk f30 that ONLY get power when engine is running? Not when in acc or when car turned on (without break pedal and push stop start.)

Can someone assist me with setting up carplay. If someone can kindly provide  the instructions? I belive that I'll need to update my idrive level as its a L firmware and my vin is BE91331. I have set up andriod screening thanks to Robs post.
