Issue with coding new seats to F06
#1
Hi everyone,

I have a problem with coding new seats I bought for my f06 lci model. Original seats were neither comfort, nor sport. New ones are comfort from f06 year 2012.
Anyway, as I connected new seats, every single adjustment control was working, but the problem was that I was getting driver/passenger restraint system malfunction light lit up on the dash. I flashed both seat modules with esys and coded new new cafd files, however the adjustment controls stopped working, but restraint lights dissapeared. I tried manually inject 5 different cafd files that were available for each seat module without any luck. At the moment, I'm getting faults for both of the seat modules on ista :
802A2B -SMFA: coded actuator or sensor not supported by hardware version
802C0B -SMBF: coded actuator or sensor not supported by hardware version

If I code the modules back to default, I get cafd files named 255_255_255, without ability to read FDL, however adjustments work, but restraint malfunction lights come back on :/

Does anyone have a solution on this please???
Would take it to a shop myself to get it fixed, but the whole point is to learn to do everything myself. Thanksss
