Wifi Antenna

Hello, so I am planning on doing an NBTevo update! I got Esys and everything needed to do an update. I don't have a battery charger so I will wait till i get a day off to be able to do it. I have apple carplay .bin file via usb I thought I should at least plug in the usb and just get regular non fullscreen carplay. Which turned out that I need to do an update because the .bin is for full screen. Well it didn't connect to car play it did show it and everything that comes along with it such as Screen Mirroring. Thing is I actually got my car's wifi connection to be found on my iPhone does that mean I have a wifi antenna already installed? I figured I probably do because I can see a signal.
