Yes it would be enough but when I type that password into 7z to extract the ISTA_v4.52.40.30215.7z zip file, it says wrong password, can you help me with that?

no on ever mentioned that you need to unzip any zip files ,, run the EXE file and it will take care of the installation

When I run the .exe and get to the past the point of choosing custom installation it hangs for me. I have an older ista install on this computer, do I need to uninstall the old version first?

Can someone confirm the psdz data will automatically unzip.
I also assumed you need to unzip this file first. This is where the included password doesn't work.
