I recently installed a pre-configured CIC retrofit package into my '09 E60 M5. The person I bought the parts from on eBay "coded" the CIC head unit (also from an E60) to my VIN. I have installed everything and everything works including NAV; however, I feel that I still need to tell the car (FA/VO) that it has a CIC head unit and not a CCC.
When I scan the car for issues using ÎŜ†Ä, it shows the CCC module as inoperable (as well as one other I can't remember). Additionally, I cannot read the CAPPL module using NCSEXPERT (which I believe is to be expected as the CCC head unit has been removed). Since the CIC head unit is already set up for my car, do I just need to add CIC to the VO and remove CCC? If so, what modules do I need to write this change to? I assume CAS, anything else?
Here is what the car has in terms of multimedia (below) - I assume I would need to remove S6VB and add S609A?
Multimedia
S609 Navigation System Professional
S610 Head-Up Display
S620 Voice Control
S639 Preparation F Mobile Phone Cpl. USA/CDN
S645 BMW US Radio
S655 Satellite Tuner
S694 Provisions For BMW 6 CD Changer
S697 Area-Code 1 For DVD
S6AA BMW TeleServices
S6AB Control, Teleservices
S6FL USB/Audio Interface
S6UH Traffic Information
S6VB CCC Assignment

| F82 2014 Idrive stuck in blue firmware update screen after my silly upgrade from 14-0 |

I have screwed up the F82, I should have listened to myself and stopped before I even started.
I have just tried to flash an update to my idrive firmware to HU-NBT-63 and its in stuck on a blue screen.
It was running F20 14-07-505 software from a 2014 F82. And I tried to apply F20 15-03-500, using ė-šÝ§ 3.26.1.
I did the Fem_gw first which was fine and then I did the Fem_body next which was also fine.
But I noticed no sound so I did the hu_nbt_63 and whiist it did show a bar applying. On reboot it's stuck on the blue screen.
Thinking back I think what happened is. I flashed the fem_body without doing the 12 prerequisites. But I am at the point where I am too scared to touch it now.
Do I do the rest of the modules that are the prerequisite and hope the HU-NBT-63 comes back online, will it even allow me to upgrade the rest of the modules?
Or revert the Fem_body back to the old version if I can find the old firmware. Which is looking impossible to find.
Located in the UK. Bracknell if anyone can help.
