Hi guys, trying to flash my iDrive firmware to enable fullscreen following a guide. 

I'm up to the part that requires you to Calculate a TAL and get the following error

Generating TAL failed! [C041]

DetailInfo must not be null for ECU ECUId:FEM_BODY_0x40

I've checked the VIN across on the FA data and the VIN is correct with the car, the car is connected to ė-šÝ§ 3.30.1 via ENET cable selected Connected via VIN.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Need to use ÎŜ†Ä d for diagnosing some faults on my E92 320d, its had FRM module repaired before the FRM wasn't updated though.

Was wondering if I plug the car in and use ÎŜ†Ä d to check modules do I risk bricking the FRM? If so what are the work rounds to using ÎŜ†Ä d for diagnostics?

Maybe with ÎŜ†Ä or ė-šÝ§ ?

I apologize if this is a stupid question but I am VERY new to coding (last week) and I don't want to screw anything up. Last week I got eSysX up and running with 3.34.0 & PSdZdata 4.25.12 Lite. That worked the charm for me and I was able to successfully code quite a few things including aSLA & quite a few other things. Thing is, when I did this, my vehicle was. running 03/2020.40.

Well, now I just got back from the dealer and they updated me with 07/2020.45 (which I haven't seen mentioned anywhere yet).


Question: Can I still use 4.25.12 to VO/FDL code via eSysX? Or do I now need to wait for an update to the psdzdata? Again, feel free to tell me it's a stupid question and it doesn't work this way or i-step version doesn't matter. I can take the noob abuse! Haha!

Can HU TOOL 2.6 PRE do region change to import 0120 FSC map instead of NA 121??Several weeks earlier finished with my wife's F56 retrofit Evo ID5,HU TOOL works perfectly,BUT, the head unit was from EU....

So, the question is:Will it work for NA units???Will UPD44044.BIN(50kb) patch do it work for importing 120 FSC in USA head?

Or i need larger,UPD.38499.BIN(360kb) patch???

Hi everyone,

I need some help from you if possible.
Some time ago I retrofitted xenon headlights from halogen and now I found a very good offer for adaptive xenons. I have kafas2 from the factory and high beam assist is working perfectly.
The only issue is that I don`t have the self-leveling sensors. Are they a must for the adaptive feature to work with the headlights? I know they will not move up and down, only left and right, but will it work fine when high beam assist is on, will it put a shade on the car coming from oncoming traffic?
