Me myself I am working mostly on VAG cars (coding, chiptuning, diagnosis)  but want to extend my knowledge also on BMW.

A friend of mine has a BMW E87 with an N43B20 engine and has a misfire problem. The car sometimes has power, but sometimes it noticeably loses power. Occasionally, it stalls while idling. No errors appear. I once had a DTC 2a26 "Catalytic converter, conversion in stratified charge mode" error, which appeared after resetting the engine adaptation and driving about 50 km. The injectors, coils, and spark plugs were replaced – the mechanic did all of that. I also replaced the engine wiring harness, unfortunately with a used one. Perhaps someone has experienced this problem and could offer some insight. There are no misfire errors, but they are visible when connecting the app to my phone, and most often, it's on cylinder 4.

Hello! Looked into it some time ago with no success. Time has passed so I thought I'd give it another shot. Is there a possibility to get remote start FSC for EU cars or is this something we can't do?

I have a 2021 G01 X3 M40i that I want to permanently keep High Beam Assist on without always having to click the button on the steering column. Is it possible to code in so I can always have it activated or at least start the car with the last mode I had activated like you can with start / stop? Thanks!

I coded it successfully on my G80 but this G01 doesn’t have LaMaster3 and other parameters. I think I’m 1/4 there with some of the options that I was able
To find. I can see the lights move side to side trying to do there thing. I tried to search the forums here first but didn’t come up with any results. Sorry if I missed a thread and thank

Hi everyone,
I have a BMW F11 520d (2016) and recently I replaced the EPS motor/ECU (the electric power steering unit) with a used one. The replacement module was correctly VO-coded to my VIN and the car works without any errors.
However, since the replacement, the steering feels slightly heavier than before. The car drives fine, but the steering assistance is clearly different from how it used to be.
I think the EPS needs some adjustment of the assistance curve (Servotronic / Steering Assistance values), or maybe some adaptations need to be reset after installing the new motor.
My questions:

1. Is there a way to increase steering assistance (make the steering lighter) through FDL coding or EPS parameters?
   
2. Which exact parameters should be modified in the EPS module to restore or increase the assistance level?
   
3. Could the replacement EPS unit have a different steering mapping (e.g., from another model or configuration), and therefore require parameter adjustment?
