BMW F10 Headlight initializing / coding help
Posted by: hurst01 - 07-02-2025, 10:58 PM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - Replies (3)

Hi Guys,

New member here.  I found this site from a post that was made by a member on bimmerpost and I am desperate for help.
I backed into my Wife's 2011 F10 a few months ag and broke the driver side headlight.  BMW body shop wanted over $9600 to repair.  My insurance would not pay that without totalig the car out (For a broken headlight?)  They paid me $3900 to have it repaired at a lower class body shop using used parts. I have fixed it all except for painting the bumper cover and blending in the hood for about $1500.
Now for my latest problem.  Since the car is a 2011, trying to find a really nice headlight that would match the other side would be very hard.  I elected to replace both headlights with the same type aftermarket headlight and do an LED conversion.  Because the headlight was destroyed, even though it was still working, it got wet and ruined all the modules.
I replaced the modules with used ones and when I first lit them up I was very impressed.  Turned them off and later while showing my wife how they looked, everything went to crap.  The Angel Eyes are very dim on the driver side and the turn signal won't come on. I bought new TMS modules specifically for Adaptive Headlights and 4 new modules for the Angel Eyes from Amazon. and the left side Angel Eyes are still dim and the signal still wont work.
Someone on Bimmerpost told me I needed BimmerCode.  I found after I bought it that it will not initialize / code the modules.  I actually don't see anything on it that I can use or would be interested in.
Probably too much information but now you know the story.  I NEED HELP!  I was looking at some of the coding options om this forum and I don't have a clue what is is saying.  I am computer illiterate, so to speak, and I just don't understand what most of that is saying.  I have had two strokes that don't help my situation any and I have trouble reasoning like I used to
If someone could find it in their heart to point me in the right direction and offer a bit of help I certainly would appreciate it. Huh

  BMW G32 KAFAS4 SLI Activation
Posted by: martino_p - 07-01-2025, 01:06 PM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - Replies (2)

I am trying to activate speed limit information on my 2019 BMW G32. The vehicle is equipped with HU MGU, KAFAS4 and virtual cockpit (DKOMBI4).
I installed ė-šÝ§ 3.30.1 with Launcher Pro 2.8.1 + PSdZData 4.54.10 Lite.

When adding the 8TH code to FA and doing the "Calculate FA" option I get the message: "No FP could be generated from FA. Not all elements of the FA were found in the FA2FP: SALAPA 8TH".

Am I doing something wrong? How can I solve this?

  G07 Programing issues HELP please.
Posted by: David_raz89 - 07-01-2025, 03:34 AM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - Replies (9)

I was attempting to encode a new A/C module I troubleshot for my 2020 X7 while I was in there I was updating the entire car as I no longer live near a dealership (closest is 7 hrs away). While I was updating shit went south and the programming halted and bricked the car. I’ve tried a lot but I can barely connect toy the car, ÎŜ†Ä+ will not complete a vehicle test anymore so it will not allow me to reattempt a program. Attached is the module tree as it looks now. Kinda last ditch at this point. I tried ėšÝ§ but I think it was too late and the damage was done.

I’m willing to let someone remote it to help.

Hi guys,

My name is Jules, Im from the midwest USA and am passionate about BMW diagnostics, performance and increasingly interested in coding/retrofitting. I am here to learn as much as I can from you guys and contribute with repair and diagnostic help, especially on E series.

I currently own an e36 M3, e92 335xi and an e90 328.

I also make personal diagnostic laptops including ÎŜ†Ä+lite 4.32.15, standard tools, ÎŜ†Ä-p. I am hoping to learn more about ėšÝ§ and be able to include those systems for my local community. I'm really hoping to find a working 4.32.15 full version so I can include programming and a version of launcher pro to have working ėšÝ§ for F/G series coding and programming. I know I am well below many members here but this is what I contribute to my local community.

I appreciate everything you guys do for the communitity and how hard you work to keep the dream alive.

I can offer help with many DIY repairs and diagnostics but am still learning about coding and retrofitting.

Thanks,
Jules

  BU-SESSION-LINKER – Automated Session Management for BimmerUtility & ė-šÝ§
Posted by: Puksl - 06-30-2025, 01:13 AM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - No Replies

Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce my current tool: BU-SESSION-LINKER.
✅ What does it do?
BU-SESSION-LINKER is a Windows batch wrapper designed to automatically manage sessions for BimmerUtility and ė-šÝ§.
It helps to cleanly organize sessions and dynamically link ė-šÝ§ to the current working directories – no manual copying or renaming required.
✨ Features:

  • Automatically creates timestamped session folders on the desktop.
  • Creates a symbolic link
    Code:
    latest
    pointing to the active session.
  • Automatically symlinks the subfolders FA, SVT, TAL directly into the ė-šÝ§ directory.
  • Renames existing ė-šÝ§ folders with the prefix
    Code:
    WRAPPER_
to safely preserve the original data.
  • Directly launches BimmerUtility after session setup.
  • Fully checks for admin rights and restarts automatically if needed.
? Why BU-SESSION-LINKER?
✔️ No manual path input required.
✔️ No risk of overwriting original files.
✔️ Clean session tracking with clear versioning.

Release Status:
✔️ Release 1.0 is available.
✔️ Fully functional without a restore script.
? GitHub Repository:
https://github.com/kpma1985/BimmerUtilit...ion-Linker
? Feedback, questions, or improvements? Feel free to share here in the thread! ?

Wink Please help with FDL Airbag Coding.
Posted by: MantasJot - 06-29-2025, 08:00 PM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - No Replies

Hello everyone,

I have recently retrofited my standart steering wheel with M sport.
So far so good everything functions without coding, but i get fault codes because of airbag.
The original one had two connectors. One bigger and one small white( first photo). And the M sport Steering wheel had only one connector with two wires in it(second photo). Can someone please help me how to code it currectly, so i wont become Airbag, Pedestrian Protection and Restrain system Faults.
I also attached a photo of ProTool screenshot of Acsm5.
Maybe ProTool is not capable of doing this coding?
Thank You
