Hello. I have been trying to search for information about PPK flash for this ECU. Some have failed, some have succeeded. Can anyone provide some info about this?

Hello!  

Now I need help from industry enthusiasts. 

CAR INFO:
BMW 5-series E61 -08
M57D30 (M57TU2?)

OBD CABLE INFO:
K+DCAN with switch

I did a clean install of Windows 11 on laptop. I installed Mike's Easy BMW Tools Package. The installation went smoothly. 

After this, I installed ÎŜ†Ä version 4.39.20 and also installed PSzD data version 4.53.41 during the installation.
The installation went without any problems, but... there are problems using the program.
ÎŜ†Ä starts reading the car's information, but after the car's information has been read, an error message appears.

ÏÑÞÀ can read fault codes from all control units, but... when you go inside the engine control unit, an error code appears on the screen.
I have tested this with both M57 DDE 5.0 and DDE 6.0 settings. Neither allows entry.

How can these be fixed so that the programs can actually be used?

I'm an e53 X5 4.8is owner who bought my car after sending it to a BMW dealer for a pre purchase inspection.

Given the all clear I spent $1300 shipping it across Australia only to find a heap on codes on it, in particular VANOS codes on bank 2.

Long story short, that resulted in an engine out rebuild and a $12,000 bill of which the dealer paid for $8500 of.

The car runs great now.

I also have an e53 X5 3.0D which is giving me grief with the trailer control module. I am struggling to solve the dramas.

Hi all, Ihave problem with retrofiting active seat in my e65 2007 730d. The problem is that i cannot code my seat module to work. when i plug in donor's module, it work, but i want to use my seat module. I added in CAS VO/FA options 455, and from ÎŜ†Ä i can see as equipment, but it doesent't work. any help will be nice

I'm getting the following error when trying to update ilevel on an F10 using ÎŜ†Ä+ 4.39.20 and ÏçØɱ.

"Automatic encoding data record calculation failed!
There is a failure in retrieving the calculation result or a connection problem to the BMW 'Secure Coding Back-end'!"

What could be the issue, how to proceed?

Hi all

I have a G31 530d which today I retrofitted reverse camera. Cable installation went fine but when I connected up to ÎŜ†Ä to add the retrofit, on vehicle check DDE, EPS, BDP, DSC, ACSM were all showing red and I got a pop up about SAE codes.

I went through to software update and kept getting popups for importing enabling codes.

I’ve never seen this and can’t seem to get the modules to show correctly in the tree. Any ideas what could have caused this? Car starts up fine and no errors in the idrive
