Hi, I'm new to all this and I have run into an issue with trying to add keys via the bench.

I was using the xhorse key tool plus connected to the FEM module and to unlock the fem it requested to upgrade the module programming. once the update was finished, the fem now says the code is missing and cannot add any keys.

I've tried to restore the fem to the original backup but this just fails. When I compare the screenshots from before and after, it looks like the update is missing the cadf software. 

any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

just joined after getting my first BMW (Long term Mercedes owner) and added a BMW i3 to my SL500 and CLK :-)

Lots of experience coding Mercedes with STAR SDS (Xentry) but now starting again with BMW.

Hey all.
Long time BMW owner but new to coding. First ride was an E30...'89 325is. Should never have gotten rid if it; still breaks my heart.
Latest ride is my wife's F15...'17 X5 40e, which led me here because the aux battery needs to be replaced. No coding involved with that but I realized that I can do all kinds of cool stuff. So why not?

Currently not able to connect the car, connection manager shows the Vin and what kinds connection in my case enet as soon as press select read vin shows up it just stays like that 

Anyone had the same problem?
